About Berean Baptist Church of Ayden
Berean Baptist Church brings together believers in Ayden, North Carolina, who are united by a love for God's Word and a shared longing to know Him more fully. If Ayden has long been your home or you are just passing through, you will find a warm welcome waiting for you here.
Our Story
Our name comes from the Bereans in Acts 17:11, who welcomed the word with great readiness and examined the Scriptures every day. That same spirit of careful, eager attention to the Bible has defined who we are from the beginning. For years, Berean Baptist Church has ministered to families in Ayden and the surrounding communities, gathering at 2549 NC-102. As an independent Baptist church, our services focus on preaching, prayer, and fellowship.
Our Mission
Our purpose is to glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ. That commitment shows up in these ways:
- Teaching the Scriptures faithfully — each service is built around the Bible and how it applies to daily life.
- Gathering for worship and prayer — we meet Sunday morning and evening and on Wednesday for prayer, seeking God together as a church family.
- Building up families and individuals — from Sunday School to midweek prayer, we want each person to grow in faith and discover a place to belong.
- Serving our neighbors — we care deeply about Ayden and want to shine as a light in our community.
What We Do
Our weekly schedule gives you several ways to get involved:
- Sunday School at 10:00am — classes for every age, studying God's Word together.
- Sunday Morning Service at 11:00am — a time of worship and preaching.
- Sunday Evening Service at 6:00pm — another chance for teaching and fellowship.
- Wednesday Prayer Service at 7:30pm — a midweek gathering for prayer and Bible study.
Who We Serve
We serve the people of Ayden and neighboring towns — families, singles, seniors, and children. You don't need to have everything figured out to come. Whether you are exploring faith for the first time or have walked with the Lord for many years, you are welcome here.
